It’s the last day for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s second beta weekend, with all three platforms involved and crossplay enabled. There have been mixed responses thus far, especially regarding the mini-map, the new Perk Package system, and visibility. But a good chunk of players has expressed their disdain for lobbies disbanding after every match.
Fortunately, Infinity Ward is aware of the same. It’s working on “a few tweaks” to increase the chance of lobbies remaining together. The UI will also receive improvements to alert players when this happens. It’s also increasing perk earn rates across all modes, though the overall Perk flow is being fine-tuned.
These changes should make their way to the final game. The developer also previously confirmed that it’s working on issues with the UI when editing Perk Packages, managing loadouts and using the Armory. Fixes for these should be live when the game launches, so stay tuned for more details.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC on October 28th. Digital pre-orders can get early access to the campaign on October 20th. As for Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, it goes live on November 16th with new map, Gulag, various changes, and the new mode rumored as DMZ for months.
