Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Gets 4K Raw Gunfight Footage

Some non-influencers' footage gets revealed.

We’re still waiting patiently for the full multiplayer unveiling of the next Call of Duty entry coming later this year. Not too long ago, we got small taste with a new mode called Gunfight. It’s a fast-paced 2v2 mode that’s built for speedy games and quick reflexes. It was, however, released to influencers who used it to promote their Twitch feeds and whatnot. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, and for those preferring some raw footage with no commentary got a great gift from Infinity Ward today, as they had promised earlier.

On their official YouTube, the developer released roughly 6 minutes of raw, influencer-free footage to show off Gunfight, captured in 4K and running on a PlayStation 4 Pro. It’s still just a small crumb in the end as we wait for the beginning of next month, but hey, it’s something, and we know a little about the factions, too, so at least the appetizers aren’t too bad here.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will release October 25th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The multiplayer unveiling will be August 1st.
