Yesterday, we got word that a new multiplayer mode would be shown off by several Twitch influencers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Well, we got that taste of the game’s long-awaited multiplayer with the new Gunfight, as well as word on when we’ll get a bigger taste.

The new mode, Gunfire, is a 2v2 mode that’s designed to have a faster pace than typical multiplayer modes. While it’s obviously not a taste of the full traditional experience, you get an idea of how the game will feel and play. You can check out LEGIQN’s Twitch video, which highlights the new mode (just a word of warning, there is some explicit language in the video).

We also got word on when we’ll see the bigger picture, as Activision announced that on August 1st, at the official Call of Duty Twitch page, we’ll finally get a full blown look at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare‘s multiplayer, ahead of the game’s release on October 25th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
