Following last week’s multiplayer beta for PlayStation pre-orders, Sledgehammer’s Call of Duty: Vanguard will have an open beta this weekend for all platforms. It starts on September 18th and ends on September 20th. Granted, Xbox and PC players can pre-order to gain access on September 16th while its open to all PlayStation players from the same day but don’t sweat the details.
The open beta offers quite a bit of new content over last week including a new map called Eagle’s Nest, Search and Destroy mode, and two additional featured playlists. These include Solos Champion Hill and 24/7 Team Deathmatch with the latter taking place in Royal Hotel and Eagle’s nest. Combat Pacing is also set to Blitz, which means it’s going to be super fast-paced and chaotic.
The upcoming beta will also support cross-platform play and should be a good way to test the feature with friends on other platforms. Call of Duty: Vanguard launches on November 5th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC.
