Crackdown 3 is going to be a massive open world, a complete sandbox for players to wreak absolute havoc in with environments that we’ve been told are going to be almost completely destructive. Keeping all that in mind, it seems fair to assume that the game will have a number of minor visual niggles and performance issues to go along with it. However, if recent footage released for the game is anything to go by, that is not going to be the case.
Crackdown 3 was a major presence at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, and as such, there’s tons of gameplay footage coming out for fans to feast their eyes on. Below, we have posted videos (thanks, DualShockers!) that show collectively almost 30 minutes of gameplay footage, showing everything from chaotic action to some excellent sandbox gameplay, while also showing off the beautifully rendered environments of the game- it looks absolutely breathtaking in action, there’s no doubt about it, and if these thirty minutes of footage are anything to go by, the unique art style helps bring it to life even more.
In addition to that, there’s also a screenshot, courtesy of a forum post on NeoGAF. It’s taken from the game’s panel at SDCC, and it shows off the game’s incredible visual fidelity once again- more than anything else, the draw distances seem very impressive. You can take a look at the screen below as well. Another video, which we’ve also posted below, shows the full character model of Commander Jaxon in great detail, and it would not be an exaggeration to say that he looks glorious.
Crackdown 3 launches in November for PC, Xbox One and Xbox One X. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for continued coverage on the game.
