The time has come, no pun intended, for the first brand new Crash Bandicoot adventure in ages, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. The game has followed two very successful remake projects and people are excited for a new outing. But some eyebrows were raised at the listing on the Microsoft Store saying there would be ‘in-app purchases.’ But it seems the developers wants to put us at ease.
On the official Toys for Bob Twitter, the developers have explicitly stated the game would feature no microtransactions, and then highlighted the bonus if you decide to get the digital version. It is worth noting that Activision has become somewhat infamous for launching games with no microtransactions and then adding them later on. They do it with all of the Call of Duty titles, and this happened with the last Crash title, Crash Team Racing. But the N.Sane Trilogy, the same single player effort from the series, never had any.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will launch on October 2nd for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. You can check out chunk of gameplay of the upcoming game through here.
