Crash Bandicoot is finally getting a new game when Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time launches on October 2nd. The sequel reportedly offers more than 100 new levels, which would be greater than the entire Crash Bandicoot N. Trilogy combined. However, it also seems to have in-app purchases according to the Microsoft Store page.

This can be noted under the “pre-order” button on the page. No other details have been provided. It’s possible that players can pay real money for different cosmetic skins. The Totally Tubular Skins obtained on digital purchase are a good example as they offer different looks for Crash Bandicoot and Coco.

Perhaps there will be other cosmetics offered post-launch (maybe even for Neo Cortex since he’s a playable character this time around). Expect more details from Activision in the coming weeks. Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is currently in development for Xbox One and PS4 but is also being evaluated for “additional platforms.”
