Cult of the Lamb Has Sold 3.5 Million Copies Since Release

A year and half since its release, Cult of the Lamb has reached a new impressive sales milestone.

Developer Massive Monster and publisher Devolver Digital have announced that roguelite title Cult of the Lamb has hit a major milestone; the game has sold over 3.5 million copies. The milestone was announced alongside details of the game’s upcoming Sins of the Flesh update.

Released back in 2022, Cult of the Lamb‘s sales figures have reached an impressive milestone. For context, the game had already proven to be quite popular on release, having sold million copies in its launch week.

Since the game’s released, the studio has been working on continuous support for Cult of the Lamb, releasing quite a few updates that bring major new features to the title, ranging from collaborations with other games, to the addition of new gameplay mechanics.

The next major update for Cult of the Lamb, Sins of the Flesh, will be bringing with it a host of new features, including a new progression systems, new building options, and a new weapon in the form of the Blunderbuss that mixes long-range sniping gameplay with close-range burst attacks. The update is out on January 16.

Cult of the Lamb is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
