Indie developer Massive Monster has announced the next major content update for its roguelite action game Cult of the Lamb. The update, titled Sins of the Flesh, is set to bring a host of new content to the game, including new story content, as well as new gameplay features.
The studio, making the announcement for the update over social media platform X, hasn’t yet revealed any concrete details about what we can expect from Sins of the Flesh, or when the update will be coming out aside from an early 2024 release window.
The last major content update for Cult of the Lamb was Relics of the Old Faith, which brought with it a new post-game storyline. The update also brought with it a revamp to boss fights, as well as new challenges and rewards that could be earned by players.
Cult of the Lamb has seen quite a few updates since its release, ranging from the addition of permadeath mode and new accessibility options to a revamp of its combat system with the addition of heavy attacks for all weapons.
Cult of the Lamb is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
