Daemon X Machina Gets Cross-Save Support Between Switch And PC

Play the mech game anywhere with the latest update.

Ever since the Souls series took off big time for FromSoftware and they began focusing pretty much entirely on that, it left something of a mech hole in the world where their previous moneymaker, Armored Core, used to be. Not a lot of contenders have stepped up to fill said hole, but one that did last year was Daemon X Machina, a very solid mech title that came to the Nintendo Switch and then eventually PC. It’s continued to get updates since then and now there’s another that means you can take it anywhere.

As detailed on XSEED’s official website, there is now full cross-save between both versions of the game. You can use Steam Cloud to share the data between the platforms, so you can play on your PC in all its high settings glory and then take the game on the go when you wish.

Daemon X Machina is available now on Switch and PC. There’s been no word as of yet on the game coming to other platforms, but the developer is said to be hiring for “high-end” project for the new consoles.
