Dark Souls Trilogy Announced, Releasing on October 19th

All three Dark Souls games with their DLC will be heading to Xbox One and PS4.

Out of nowhere, Bandai Namco Games has announced that Dark Souls Trilogy will be coming to the Xbox One and PS4 on October 19th. Yes, you read that right. The definitive versions of all three Dark Souls titles – namely Dark Souls Remastered, Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin, and Dark Souls 3: The Fire Fades Edition – will be available in a three-disc package. All DLC will be included as well.

This year saw Dark Souls Remastered make its way to Xbox One, PS4, and PC, containing graphically enhanced version of the first game with its DLC. It will also launch on October 19th for the Nintendo Switch. So while it may be particularly annoying for anyone who already owns the remaster, Dark Souls Trilogy still represents incredible value for first-time players. It was originally released in Japan exclusively for PS4, so it’s good to see it coming West as well.

Will it arrive on PC though? That’s the real question, and hopefully, Bandai Namco will have more information on that soon. If you want something new out of From Software, then Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be coming in March 2019.
