Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Director Teases New Character in Silhouette Image

The individual could be Kenjiro Tsuda, renowned for roles in Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.

Just when you thought it was safe, Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding creator Hideo Kojima has revealed a new silhouette teaser for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. Like those leading up to the game’s announcement, it offers an outline of the individual without showing their face.

As some eagle-eyed fans have noted, this seems to be Kenjiro Tsuda. The actor is known for iconic roles such as Kento Namai from Jujutsu Kaisen, Kishibe from Chainsaw Man, and Isshiki Ōtsutsuki from Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. If this is Tsuda, it’s all but a given that he’ll appear in the title as a character.

Of course, the teaser also potentially points to a new trailer or reveal, perhaps at Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 20th. It may also premiere at this year’s Tokyo Game Show from September 28th to 29th since Kojima Productions is confirmed to attend. Stay tuned for updates in the meantime.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is currently in development for PS5 and will launch in 2025. Check out the last revealed trailer here.
