PlayStation’s full schedule for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show was recently revealed, with the company set to end week of live events with an hour-long stage presentation dedicated to the upcoming Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. It turns out, however, that we’re going to get even more of the open world title than previously anticipated.
Taking to Twitter, developer Kojima Productions revealed that its Death Stranding 2 stage presentation has been extended, and is now set to be a 90-minute affair rather than an hour-long one. It’s now scheduled to kick off half an hour earlier, on 10:30 AM JST on September 29, so fans can expect more details on the game to be shared than previously planned.
Of course, in attendance will be director Hideo Kojima himself, accompanied by various members of the game’s cast. Recent weeks have seen Kojima teasing more new unannounced actors that will be playing roles in the game- perhaps we’ll learn more about that soon, too, especially with State of Play presentation scheduled for later today.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is due out sometime in 2025 for PS5.
