PlayStation has released a new trailer for Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, presumably the final one that director Hideo Kojima teased weeks ago. It offers an overview of the game’s mechanics, from natural disasters caused by the excess of Chiralium, like earthquakes and floods to new tools. Check it out below.
The sequel consists of three major gameplay pillars – delivery, action, and stealth. You can unlock upgrades and improve carrying capacity or fine-tune Exoskeletons to automatically adjust balance. Combat allows for a wider variety of weapons and even shooting while riding in vehicles.
For stealth, Fragile recommends building a watchtower before infiltrating an enemy base, presumably to help detect enemies and help keep things quiet. Some boss fights against powerful B.T. are shown near the end before Sam ponders being back on the job.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach launches on June 26th for PS5 at $69.99, with Digital Deluxe Edition owners receiving access on June 24th. Check out some more extensive gameplay here.
