Kojima Productions recently announced that Death Stranding would be coming to PC in early Summer 2020. Given that Sony is publishing the PS4 version, who will be handling the PC version? In recent press release, 505 Games has announced itself as the publisher. You’ll probably remember the company for recently publishing Remedy’s Control.
Raffi Galante, 505 Games CEO and co-founder, stated, “We are extremely excited and honored to be working with the supremely talented team at Kojima Productions and to bring Death Stranding to PC gamers around the world. Death Stranding will take gamers through a completely original experience that will delight PC gamers everywhere.”
We can look forward to more details about the PC version in the future. For now, all eyes are on the PS4 release. This is director Hideo Kojima’s first game since Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain released in September 2015.
Death Stranding is also fairly different from his previous titles since it’s not a stealth game. Kojima has promised “surprise” at the Paris Games Week, taking place from October 30th to November 3rd, so stay tuned for even more gameplay footage and/or story details (potentially). The game is out on November 8th for PS4, with reviews going live on November 1st.
