Death Stranding is now just a little over a week away from its hugely anticipated launch, and as we get closer to its release, both Sony and director Hideo Kojima are kicking the game’s marketing up several notches.

That begins as early as October 30, which is when Paris Games Week kick off. And as PlayStation’s official French Twitter page just confirmed, Hideo Kojima will be in attendance at Sony’s panel on the show. Interestingly enough, the tweet also teases that he will be dropping “a surprise related to Death Stranding”, which means it might be worth checking out- though right now, there’s no telling what that surprise will be.

Conveniently enough, this also lines up with Death Stranding’s global launch event, which kicks off in Paris on the same day, before moving on to several other cities, including London on November 2nd. Stay tuned for any new details that might arise during that week.

Death Stranding is out on the PS4 on November 8. The game’s reviews will be going live on November 1, so keep an eye out for our impressions on that day.
