With Death Stranding’s release now less than a month away, everyone, from Kojima Productions to Sony to fans of Hideo Kojima, seems to be in a celebratory mood. Not too long ago, Kojima suggested that there might be a launch event for the game in the build up to its release, and now, Kojima Productions have confirmed via Twitter that there will indeed be a launch event, held across multiple cities across the world.

Called Death Stranding – World Strand Tour, the event will kick off on October 30th in Paris. After that, there will also be events in London, Berlin, New York, San Francisco, Tokyo, Osaka, Singapore, Taipei, and Seoul. Hideo Kojima will be in attendance at these events, as per the tweet, and will be “looking forward to connecting with all the fans.” More details on the event will also be shared soon.

Death Stranding recently went gold, and will be out on PS4 on November 8. Recently, Sony also detailed a Death Stranding limited edition PS4 Pro bundle- read more on that through here. Meanwhile, Kojima is also currently working on a launch trailer for the game, so be on the lookout for that as well.
