Death Stranding is coming this November, finally, after many years of vague hints and CGI trailers that told us nothing. Well, we’re still getting vague hints and CGI trailers that tell us nothing, but we’re closer to an actual date, I guess. It’s sure to be something many will celebrate one way or another, but the game’s Creator and Director has something grand in mind.
In a Twitter post from his official account, Hideo Kojima gets nostalgic about the release date of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. His last game for Konami that happened during their falling out, which lead to Kojima’s ultimate departure from the company. He’s thinking that with Death Stranding he might try to do a launch event party, something he last time in 2010 for the release of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
With the amount of money that’s surely been poured into this game, might as well have one, despite them being “passe” (whatever that means). Death Stranding will launch on PlayStation 4 on November 8th with, maybe, a launch party of some kind.
4years ago of today was the release day of MGSV. This photo was when I sneaked into the store. It’ll be the 1st time in 4years when DS is released on 11/8. I’d like to do the launch event 1st time in 9years if poss even thou doing events is passé. The last one was in 2010 for PW. pic.twitter.com/BGWuJTWWLm
