Death Stranding – Devs Share Updates on Japanese Voice Recording Sessions

Work carries on for Japanese voice recording sessions for Death Stranding.

The most we’ve heard of Death Stranding so far in recent weeks and months is plaudits from the lucky few who’ve seen it in action or managed to get their hands on it. Naturally then, we’re starved for any update on the game and how its development is going. Thankfully, Hideo Kojima and members of the game’s development team have shared a few such updates.

Aki Saito, the head of marketing and communications for Kojima Productions, and Ayako, Hideo Kojima’s personal assistant, both recently shared images on Twitter from the game’s Japanese voice recording sessions, which are carrying on as expected. Kojima himself also tweeted out images during these sessions, including a picture with some of the cast members, and a couple that show recording equipment and a page showing a few lines from the game’s script (which I’m sure Death Stranding fans will be scrutinizing in great detail over the next few days).

Recently, it was confirmed that Houchu Ohtsuka would be joining the game’s Japanese voice cast. Read more on that through hereDeath Stranding is scheduled for a launch exclusively on PS4, but doesn’t currently have a release date.
