Death Stranding Has “A Significant Segment” During Gamescom Opening Night, Gameplay Demo Likely

We might FINALLY get that long-awaited gameplay reveal.

Gamescom is kicking off today, and it does so with the opening event hosted by Geoff Keighley, Opening Night Live. That in particular is looking like it’s going to be packed couple of hours– and among the many notable updates and announcements confirmed for the show is one for Hideo Kojima’s upcoming highly anticipated Death Stranding.

What Kojima will be showing is something that we’ve all been wondering for a while- we’ve received a few pretty long trailer for the game so far, but questions about what kind of a game it even is still continue to pop up. But it looks like we might be in for a long overdue meaty gameplay reveal later today. Taking to Twitter to post a live update in preparation for the show, Geoff Keighley unveiled that the even has a “significant segment” with Kojima that has “a pretty long run time”, before promising viewers that they “won’t be disappointed.”

Additionally, ZhughEx on Resetera – Daniel Ahmad, senior analyst at Niko Partners – also confirms that we are, indeed, in for a gameplay reveal for the title.

Either way, there’s not long left till we find out, so stay tuned to GamingBolt, and we’ll keep you updated on any new info that comes our way.
