Deep Rock Galactic – New Planetary Regions Coming in Update 33

The update is live now on Steam.

Ghost Ship Games’ co-op FPS/space-mining adventure Deep Rock Galactic has sold over 2 million units since launching into early access but the development team isn’t slowing down. It’s announced that update 33 is now live for PC players on Steam, bringing two Planetary Regions. Check them out below.

The first is the Azure Weald, a beautiful yet mysterious place, while the second is Hollow Bough, a web of thorns that will threaten your sanity. Other new content include new strains for Glyphid Dreadnoughts like the Hiveguard,  and the Arbalest and Lacerator (formed by a Cocooned Dreadnought undergoing metamorphosis). The Mactera is also seeing some variations like the Tri-Jaw and Brundle.

Of course, the new regions also pose their own unique threats like the Deeptora Bough Wasp and Stabber Vine in Hollow Bough so watch out. Update 33 will be coming to Xbox One and PC players on the Microsoft Store on February 11th. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
