Xur is back in the Tower in Bungie’s Destiny 2 and his offering of Exotics this week is…underwhelming, to say the least. Is it as underwhelming as the upcoming Grandmaster Nightfall Ordeals? Judge for yourself – he’s currently in the Hangar till tomorrow’s weekly reset.
In terms of Exotic armor, there’s Knucklehead Radar (Hunter helm), Armamentarium (Titan chest) and Crown of Tempests (Warlock helm), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Knucklehead Radar provides a radar while aiming down sights but that’s more or less it. Armamentarium provides an extra grenade charge while Crown of Tempests, the highlight for Stormcallers, extends the duration of Stormtrance. Arc abilities also recharge more quickly when scoring Arc ability kills.
The Exotic weapon this week is Coldheart, a Trace Rifle that fires an energy beam. The longer the beam stays on a target, the more damage dealt though it’s not going to really blow your mind in PvE. At 29 Legendary Shards, it’s good for filling out the collection if nothing else.
