Destiny 2 Season of the Worthy_02

Bungie has dropped some new details on Grandmaster Nightfall Ordeals, the next tough piece of content to come to Destiny 2. It’s out on April 21st as part of Season of the Worthy and will be 1050 Power, though players need to be 1025 Power to compete. What’s different about it compared to Master Nightfall Ordeals?

Extinguish as a modifier is coming back which means your team will be sent back to orbit if everyone dies. Limited Revives shared among the team is also a thing but you’ll net more every time a Champion is killed. Bungie promises a “few other wrinkles” so we’ll see how that goes. As for the rewards, you can expect increased chances for Exotic armor and Masterworking materials.

There will also be a new Seal and title “Conqueror” to earn and if that weren’t enough, a Contest mode will be active. Much like the Crown of Sorrow raid, players with Power levels higher than 1025 will receive no additional benefits. At the very least, it should place the emphasis back on teamwork and execution as opposed to simply grinding out levels with the Artifact.

Stay tuned for when Grandmaster Nightfall Ordeals go live in the coming weeks.
