A new hotfix is available for Bungie’s Destiny 2, and though it only has a few fixes, they’re all pretty important. First is Vesper of Radius, a Warlock chest Exotic which was recently buffed. However, it’s now disabled after Bungie discovered that it could create chain explosions (and maybe activating on Phoenix Dive was also unintended).
Meltdown Crucible matches weren’t providing objective or pursuit progress, which is now fixed. Players can also no longer get duplicate rewards from Subclass Mastery quests. However, arguably the biggest fix is for Exotic Armor Focusing. When it rolled out, players discovered that it could give lower stat rolls than intended, defeating the whole purpose.
That should no longer be the case with this hotfix. You won’t get those wasted materials back, but at least future Exotics should be superior. Stay tuned for more details on further updates in the coming weeks, especially since the latest Dungeon, Ghosts of the Deep, went live recently.
