Heralding the launch of Destiny 2‘s newest season, Season of the Deep, developer Bungie has posted an image on Twitter showing off some of the new PlayStation-inspired armour that will be coming to the game.
The image shows off three Guardians and a ghost, all sporting armour based on PlayStation franchises. In the image, the Titan is wearing armour inspired by God of War, while the Hunter’s armour features threads as seen in Horizon Zero Dawn, and the Warlock’s gear looks to be inspired by Ghost of Tsushima. The Ghost isn’t missing out on the action, seemingly infected by the cordyceps from The Last of Us.
The armour sets will be available alongside the launch of Season of the Deep, which is slated to kick off later today. These armours will likely be available in Destiny 2 as ornaments, but Bungie hasn’t yet revealed the pricing.
Destiny 2‘s Season of the Deep will feature new content, as well as quite a few changes to various aspects of the game. Examples include balance changes to Starfire Protocol, which is seeing nerf, and new Aspects that will become available for the Strand subclass.
Earlier this month, Bungie also announced that it would be raising the prices for Destiny 2‘s season passes by around 10-20% across the board.
