Having released with the launch of the Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack for Destiny 2, Dares of Eternity turned out to be an extremely fun activity for all players. Not only can one earn weapons that reference titles like Halo and Marathon but it also eventually opens up a quest to obtain the Forerunner, an Exotic sidearm that’s essentially the iconic Magnum.
Unfortunately, not everyone has been having fun in the new activity. Essentially, any one who’s new to the mode and loads up the game will automatically be queued into it for the first time. This applies to both veteran and New Light players. The problem is that the activity recommends 1150 Power while new players begin in 1100 Power. Cue frustrated moments and the inability to kill bosses.
Community manager Cosmo replied to Reddit post about the same. “We have sent this issue over to the team to look into. Hopefully we can make New Lights’ first interaction with the fantastic horse a more positive one.” How long it will take to fix remains to be seen but many are recommending the activity’s Power requirement be lowered to 1100 for those experiencing it for the first time.
Meanwhile, game director Joe Blackburn has recently confirmed that content from the Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack won’t be going anywhere anytime soon following concerns of vaulting. At the very least, it’ll still be around after The Witch Queen launches on February 22nd 2022 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC and Google Stadia.
