A few days ago, Nvidia released the first footage of Destiny 2 running on PC. It looked pretty good, running at 60 FPS and showcasing the visual fidelity that could be expected.
However, it seems the settings weren’t even on Ultra. According to PC project lead David Shaw on Twitter, “Settings weren’t quite maxed. More like high-ish.”
Shaw also added that, “We’re not going into depth on all the PC settings just yet, but I can confirm that we will support multiple Vsync options.”
We know that Destiny 2 will support resolutions up to 4K and uncapped frame rates. The open beta will be available in late August so PC players will get a chance to see just how well optimized it is before launch.
By the way, Destiny 2 is out on October 24th – nearly two months after the launch of Xbox One and PS4 versions on September 6th. What are your thoughts on the PC version? Let us know in the comments.
