With the PC release of Destiny 2 happening on October 24th, which is roughly 11 days away, Bungie has finally announced the minimum and recommended hardware requirements in its latest weekly update.
For those with modest rigs, you’ll need an Intel Core i3-3250 at 3.5 GHz, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 with 2 GB VRAM, 6 GB of memory and Windows 7 64-bit in order to run the game at minimum settings. Recommended settings actually aren’t that hefty – they include an Intel Core i5-2400 at 3.4 GHz, GeForce GTX 970 with 4 GB VRAM, 8 GB of memory and Windows 10 64-bit. Regardless of which setting you go for, 68 GB of storage is required as installation space.
Destiny 2 on PC will go live at 10 AM PDT/1 PM EDT so you can calculate when that is as per your local time zone. In some regions like Singapore and Japan, the game will launch on October 25th in the early morning. You can check out the full PC requirements below for more information.
