Before the launch of Destiny 2’s Forsaken DLC, Bungie has released roadmap for events that will be coming in September, along with future updates. These include more details on Annual Pass content like Black Armory, Joker’s Wild, and Penumbra.
A vidoc has been released explaining some of these plans, which you can check out below. Black Armory will arrive in December and brings a new Activity called Forges of the Chain, along with a new raid lair. Heavy machine guns will also return as part of the Season of the Forge. Joker’s Wild, meanwhile, comes in Spring 2019 and brings a new activity, new Exotics, and the evolution of Gambit (whatever that means).
Finally, there’s Penumbra releasing in Summer 2019 with a new activity, new raid lair, new Exotics and Legendaries, and more. Each content update will be accompanied by a seasonal update that will be free to all players. For instance, the Season of the Forge will have The Dawning.
The Annual Pass will cost $34.99 and is separate from the cost of Destiny 2: Forsaken (which requires the base game and both expansions). What are your thoughts on the upcoming content? Let us know below.
