Destiny 2 Forsaken Cayde-6

The launch trailer for Destiny 2: Forsaken is out now amid maintenance for patch 2.2.0. In it we see Uldren killing Cayde-6 (for probably the hundredth time at this point), Petra Venj striking a deal with the renegade Spider, and the Vanguard mourning their fallen comrade. Oh, and the Guardian finally speaks after all this time. No biggie. Check it out below.

In Destiny 2: Forsaken, players will travel to two new locations – the Tangled Shore and The Dreaming City. While the former will serve as the hunting grounds for all the different escaped Fallen Barons, the latter is more of an end-game zone with high-level challenges. The Dreaming City also houses the new raid “Last Wish”, which will actually be going live on September 14th.

Destiny 2: Forsaken will be out on September 4th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Though Gambit is exclusive to the DLC, a 24-hour trial will be available for all players on September 1st.
