Bungie’s next season for Destiny 2, Season of Dawn, is debuting next week and will see the return of the Legendary Titan Saint-14. A new Seasonal Artifact and mods are also expected but in a new livestream, Bungie outlined other content that fans can expect. First is the new Charge With Light mechanic introduced by seasonal mods.
Some of them will either add charges or use them, such as one mod that will increase your damage resistance when shields are depleted. The more charges accumulated, the longer the effect when they’re spent. You can also expect mods for enemy Champions on new weapons like Bows.
Also, finisher spammers rejoice – you’ll have the option to use a random finisher from a list of nine when the move is triggered. As for the Sundial, it’s the new six-player seasonal activity and is similar to the Menagerie. Players will battle different Champions and bosses. The idea is to mix the past, present and future together with players able to matchmake for the same.
Other content coming later includes the Empyrean Foundation, which seems to be a new dungeon; the aforementioned story quest to save Saint-14; new Exotic quests; and events like The Dawning and Crimson Days. Season of Dawn starts on December 10th so stay tuned.
