Destiny 2 Server Maintenance Scheduled for September 25th

Prepares players for update 1.0.3 - which presumably leads to the Faction Rally.

Bungie’s Destiny 2 will be going for server maintenance in the coming days. The developer revealed that maintenance will last for six hours and once it concludes, players can download update 1.0.3. No information has been offered on what the update contains.

The maintenance period will begin at 6 AM PST and you’ll no longer be able to log into Destiny 2. If you’re already logged in, then you’ll be kicked out at 7 AM PST. Maintenance is expect to wrap at 12 PM PST.

Perhaps this update will address the issue of raid keys disappearing from players when they make second characters (or randomly just because). Maybe it will prep the game for the upcoming Faction Rally event. Heck, maybe it finally adds a North direction to your minimap. Anything is possible.

Speaking of which, the Faction Rally event will see Destiny 1’s vendors finally return to the Tower in Destiny 2. Unfortunately, the gear they seem to be offering are just reskins of existing equipment.
