Bungie’s Destiny 2: The Collection is currently available for Google Stadia, at least for those who sign up for $9.99 per month on Stadia Pro. As the name indicates, the collection includes all of the content released for Destiny 2 till now along with future Season Passes. However, recent PEGI listing indicated that it would be coming to PC and consoles.
Whether that ends up happening or not, Bungie told GamesRadar via email that it has “no plans right now to have Destiny 2: The Collection available outside of Stadia.” It also said that it was “pretty easy to find ways to be content complete.” So instead of purchasing Stadia Pro and playing Destiny 2: The Collection, you could purchase Forsaken (the Annual Pass content is now included with it), Shadowkeep and then subsequent Season Passes.
First time players could also just hop in Destiny 2: New Light which includes the base game, all of its Year 1 DLC and numerous other content like the Black Armory Forges, Gambit Prime and The Menagerie for free. You can even patrol the Moon, which launched with Shadowkeep, and Forsaken locations like the Tangled Shore and Dreaming City. Still, it wouldn’t surprise us if Bungie decided to collect everything Destiny 2-related next year. Stay tuned for more details until then.
