Destiny 2: The Final Shape Videos Showcase Storm’s Edge, Twilight Arsenal, and Song of Flame

The new Supers and Subclasses will be available when the expansion launches for Xbox, PlayStation and PC on February 27, 2024.

After detailing the new Supers and Light Subclasses coming in Destiny 2: The Final Shape, Bungie has released three new preview videos showcasing them in action. Check out the Hunter’s Storm’s Edge, the Titan’s Twilight Arsenal and the Warlock’s Song of Flame.

Storm’s Edge allows the Hunter to throw an Arc dagger and teleport to it, attacking anything in a radius. They also get a new Aspect, Ascension, which sends them up and Jolts nearby targets but consumes their class ability. The Titan’s Twilight Arsenal throws three Void axes, which explode and weaken nearby enemies.

Your fireteam can then pick these up to attack. Disclaimer: The damage shown against the boss in the Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon is not, in fact, good. As for the Aspect, Unbreakable, it consumes your grenade to create a shield that absorbs damage before exploding and dealing damage.

Finally, there’s Song of Flame, which grants Radiant, overcharges your melee ability and turns grenades into Spirits of Flame that home on enemies. Hellion is the new Aspect, summoning a Solar Soul to attack enemies. When near a Song of Flame Warlock, teammates gain damage resistance and ability regen while their weapons deal Scorch damage.

Destiny 2: The Final Shape is out on February 27th, 2024, for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC. Stay tuned for more details.
