Xur is back in Bungie’s Destiny 2, hanging out in both the Winding Cove in the EDZ and Eternity. He’s got some familiar Exotics until the next weekly reset, starting with Exotic pulse rifle Graviton Lance. Costing 29 Legendary Shards, it’s unique for being a two-round burst pulse rifle (with the second shot dealing significantly more damage).
On killing an enemy, Void seekers are spawned which seek out neighboring enemies. While it could be useful for a Verity’s Brow and Devour Voidwalker build, there are better Void Special options out there. Still, it’s good to have handy, if nothing else.
Other Exotics include Shards of Galanor (Hunter gloves), Lion Rampant (Titan boots), and Lunafaction Boots (Warlock boots), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Shards of Galanor is nowhere near as overpowered as it was when Forsaken launched and provides fairly meager Super gains. Lunafaction Boots are still decent for Well of Radiance players but nowhere near as good as Phoenix Protocol while Lion Rampant is so-so for Titans.
This week’s Legendary armor is the Hunter Wild Hunt set with each piece costing 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer. Check out the selection of Legendary weapons on offer as well for the same price.
