Destiny Information Blowout: Shared World Shooter, PC Version, Player To Player Trading

New details for the year's most anticipated MMO shooter.

After months of silence, Bungie has revealed a brand new gameplay trailer for its upcoming MMO, Destiny. However Bungie likes to call it a Shared World Shooter,  but it’s an MMO after all. Bungie have revealed new details following today’s reveal.

First of all there is no word on whether micro-transactions will be a part of the game yet. Bungie seems to be pretty quiet on the subject. We think it will be present in some form or the other, given that there is no monthly subscription fee. Secondly there will be no player to player trading at launch, however Bungie will address it post launch.

And for those who own both last and current generation of consoles, they can transfer saves from one console to another. However it remains to be seen whether there will be an upgrade program of sorts. There are no plans yet to have a PC version of Destiny. Bungie believes that making it happen is very complicated. However they won’t say a no at this point.

Destiny is scheduled to release this September on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. There is a beta planned this summer.  Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
