Destiny Receives More Matchmaking Changes, February Update Not Limited to Crimson Days

Some updates form Bungie's MMO shooter Destiny.

With Iron Banner in full swing, Bungie is looking at making the matchmaking that much better for Crimson Days and the other modes that the game is featuring. On the game’s official website the company mapped out how it had gone about making changes to the matchmaking system in the Iron Banner so that players could be better matched up with others of their skill level.

A few days back, the company made the announcement that they were monitoring play in order to know how they should tweak “Today [January 29th], from 1PM to 3PM (always PST), we are collecting data on a third round of changes to matchmaking settings in Iron Banner. If this impacts game performance negatively, alert us immediately.” The posting said. The company also said that the reaction to their first “salvo” of updates had been positive so it appears Bungie is working hard to make gamers happy with what they’re doing.

When it comes to Crimson Days, Bungie wants players to understand there is more to the Destiny update than this latest mode. The firm did not go into detail just what that actually meant. Bungie did say it was going to be “firing more bullets” in order to impact the quality of the Guardian lifestyles. Bungie also said there would be more details into just what they had up their sleeve next week, so it appears there will be an announcement coming just as February kicks off.
