Bungie shared some new details on Crimson Days, its upcoming PvP event for Destiny and lest you think it’s a simply 2v2 Elimination mode…well, it sort of is.

Except if either person on your team falls in battle, the survivor receives the “Broken Heart” buff which increases reload speed, recovery and other stats until death. The effect ends when the round is over, the dead player is revived or you eventually die.

As with previous events, Crimson Days will offer new emotes including one that mimics the Drake’s dance from “Hotline Bling” (ugh), a fist-bump and other similarly useless stuff. There will also be new Ghost Shell (dropping at up to 320 Light), Shaders, and a new quest called Crimson Bonds along with a new emblem. You can also receive Crimson Candy to buff experience gain on your fireteam’s weapons for 30 minutes.

Crimson Days starts on February 9th and ends on February 16th. Thoughts on it? Let us know in the comments.
