Capcom’s Devil May Cry 5 has achieved a new sales milestone since launching in March 2019. It sold over six million units worldwide, which is not bad considering it sold over five million units by April 2022.
As the long-awaited follow-up to Devil May Cry 4, Devil May Cry 5 sees Nero returning to the forefront, battling a mysterious new enemy in Red Grave City. Along with the Blue Rose and Red Queen, Nero has the Devil Breaker, a set of mechanical arms with different abilities. He can grapple foes, fire lasers, and much more.
It’s not long before Dante joins the party, wielding classic abilities and new weapons (including a wicked motorcycle). The two are joined by a brand new character, V, who can summon familiars to fight for him. Devil May Cry 5 is available for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Amazon Luna. Its Special Edition launched for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 in November 2022, adding a new playable character, Turbo Mode, and much more.
