DICE Is Not Ready To Talk About Battlefield 5 Yet

Company says any information will be announced when it's ready.

While we know that there is going to be Battlefield 5, any information about the game is almost entirely speculation these days. The company has not actually announced anything besides the fact that the game is coming at some point. On Twitter one particular user asked DICE’s Johan Anderson about when they could be expecting any more information about the game.

Specifically, the technical director for EA was asked not only when people are going to get more information, but what century we can expect the game to center around. Anderson when asked these questions, simply responded “nope.” The Twitter user actually seemed to realize it was clear Anderson wasn’t really interested in giving out much information or being asked about it. The same Twitter user then took his questions directly to DICE who didn’t provide any real info either, but did clarify they would be announcing it through their Battlefield Twitter account when it was available.

Because the developers aren’t willing to shed any light on when the game can be expected or what the story will revolve around, we’re going to have to wait a bit longer before we find out whether the company is going to be listening to users. We’re still a ways away from actually seeing Battlefield 5 so we likely won’t get this information anytime soon.
