Disco Elysium – The Final Cut Release Date Looks To Be Revealed This Week

The enhanced version of the acclaimed RPG is set to come out this month.

It was at last year’s The Game Awards when it was announced that Disco Elysium – The Final Cut would be coming to both PC and consoles. An enhanced re-release of the RPG that saw huge critical acclaim, this version of the title looks to add lot of new content, including full voice acting, and is what the developers had dreamed of launching in the past. If you recall, its release was said to be in March for some platforms, but as you have no doubt noticed, March is ticking away and we’ve yet to get a date. That’s led some to wonder if maybe there had been a delay. Well, it seems we should find out this week.

On the Discord for the game, Head of Publishing at ZA/UM Mikk Metsniit popped in say that the release date would be revealed at some point this week. You can see it posted thanks to poster rognas at the ResetEra forums through here.

The game was planned to launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, and Stadia in March, with Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Switch versions at some point later in 2021. It’s unclear if Metsniit is only referring to the first set of consoles or if we’ll get dates for both groups. We should find out this week.
