Dragon Age: The Veilguard is looking like it may just be the return to form that we’ve been hoping for BioWare to hit for so long, and its extensive customization elements have been prominent among several elements of the upcoming action RPG that have impressed since it was unveiled earlier this summer. And while loot and gear will obviously have hand to play in that in a significant way, those who’re more fashion-inclined need not be worried about what their characters will look like.
Speaking with Game Informer, game director Corinne Busche revealed that Dragon Age: The Veilguard is going to have a “robust” transmog system, which means players will be able to apply the physical appearance of any owned armour or gear piece to their character without having to actually equip its stats or attribute changes.
Transmog will not only let you change the look of Rook, the protagonist, without having to worry about what it will do to your stats, you will be able to do the same with each party member as well.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard launches this fall for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Recent days and weeks have also brought new details on the game’s difficulty settings, character creator, progression mechanics, combat, and more.
