BioWare has released its first major patch for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, providing several fixes and improvements. There are also new cosmetic-only armor appearances to celebrate Mass Effect’s N7 Day. You’ll have to complete “The Singing Blade”, after which you’ll find them in chest near the Caretaker’s Workshop. One option bears an interesting resemblance to what could be the next game’s protagonist.
However, patch 1.0.0 offers much more than that. Issues like DLSS options greyed out for Nvidia’s 40 Series GPUs and various crashes have been fixed, while Intel XeSS is updated to 1.3.1 on PC. A bug that caused skill points for companions to reset is also fixed, and global banter won’t start too early. Furthermore, you don’t have to worry about Harding and Taash bantering unto infinity.
Check out the full patch notes below for more details. Dragon Age: The Veilguard is out for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. You can check out our review, where we gave it seven out of 10. Unfortunately, it won’t receive any story DLC, with BioWare focusing on the next Mass Effect.
