During stage events at Tokyo Game Show 2019, Bandai Namco revealed more gameplay of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. The first included gameplay of Vegeta as he roamed the open world, encountered characters like Tien and so on. The second is perhaps more interesting since it showcases Gohan battling Cell.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot may focus on the trials and tribulations of Goku (who was born as Kakarot) but it runs through a number of famous arcs. Starting with the Raditz Saga up to the Cell Saga and even the Buu Saga, there’s quite a lot to play through. The combat seems to hold up pretty well – it’s fast paced and looks responsive.
Releasing on January 17th 2020 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is developed by CyberConnect 2 of the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja and Ultimate Ninja Storm series. If you pre-order the game, you get an extra sub-story, a bento cooking item and the ability to train with ex-Ginyu Force member Bonyu. Stay tuned for more details en route to release.
