After announcing the release date for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot in Japan, Bandai Namco revealed the Western release date. It’s not far off, thankfully. North America and Europe can get their hands on the action RPG on January 17th 2020, just a day after its Japan release.

A new trailer was also released to tease another arc’s inclusion: The Buu Saga. We get to see Gohan as The Great Saiyaman, Majin Vegeta and much more. Considering the Buu Saga is when a number of cataclysmic consequences hit the Earth, it should be a nice way to round out the game.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be releasing for Xbox One, PS4 and PC in the West (it’s only out on Xbox One and PS4 in Japan). Pre-orders will pick an extra sub-story, training with new character Bonyu and a bento cooking item. There’s also the Collector’s Edition which includes a diorama figure, art book, SteelBook and the Season Pass along with the base game.
