Dragon’s Dogma 2 closed out the Capcom Showcase, but it, unfortunately, didn’t get any new gameplay. Instead, producer Hideaki Itsuno spoke about the previously revealed trailer and provided some tidbits of information. As with the first game, players can choose Pawns to accompany them on their adventure, with a Main Pawn and two Support Pawns based on other players’ characters.
Pawns can make more precise decisions this time, guide you to new locations or high-five you. The world is also four times the size of the first game, with new secrets to cover. Itsuno also detailed the two characters in the cover art – Ulrika, a bow wielder deeply connected to the Arisen, and Nadinia, a high priestess of the Beastren, a new race.
While familiar monsters will return, there are also new ones like Medusa (who can be seen in the recent trailer). There are also new Vocations for players, but nothing was revealed. Check out the overview below, via IGN.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, with no release window announced. Stay tuned for further updates.
