Dragon's Dogma 2

Capcom debuts its first gameplay for Dragon’s Dogma 2, the long-awaited sequel to the 2012 open-world action RPG. It showcases some pretty familiar sights – massive medieval environments, overwhelming foes, Pawns and some insane magic spells. Check it out below.

The story seems to concern the Arisen (with the cycle potentially beginning anew) and where they may have gone. Players will still venture across the world of Gransys, battling massive monsters, including dragons. Combat is still from the third-person perspective, and there are different classes to utilize.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 was announced in 2022 and still doesn’t have a release date, but it’s being developed on RE Engine and is a direct sequel to the original. Though Capcom hasn’t officially confirmed all the platforms, its appearance at the PlayStation Showcase pretty much means it’s coming to PS5. As always, stay tuned for more details and announcements from the showcase.
