While the Fighter Vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2 can dish out strong melee attacks, it pales next to the Warrior. In a new trailer, Capcom showcases some of the hard-hitting strikes that the Vocation is capable of. Check it out below.
Utilizing two-handed weapons like the Greatsword and Hammer, the Warrior can charge strikes and unleash a powerful attack. It can also endure enemy attacks and counter accordingly, with some hits dealing more damage with proper timing. To further sell you on it, the Vocation can execute a rising uppercut slash with its sword that would put Zero from Mega Man X to shame.
Sure, it’s not fast like the Thief and can’t hang back like the Archer or Mage, but the Warrior is still strong option. Check out some more gameplay of it here. Dragon’s Dogma 2 is out on March 22nd for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. A demo is reportedly coming soon, so stay tuned for potential announcements in the following weeks.
