Dying Light 2 Stay Human is out next week but much like the first game, launch is only the beginning for Techland. The developer has already committed to five years of post-launch support. As for what to expect in the first few months, a post-launch development roadmap has been shared on Twitter. It starts in February after launch with Faction-inspired DLCs, which seem to be free outfits and weapons based on the different factions.
In March, a Set of Challenges will be added followed by a series of events called “Mutated Infected” in April. May sees the release of another Set of Challenges while the first paid story DLC will arrive in June. Along with the second paid story DLC, new weapons, enemies, stories, events and additional DLC (both free and paid) are also coming in the future.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human releases on February 4th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC. Techland recently revealed that the entire game (aside from the Prologue) can be played in co-op. Learn more about that – and other co-op details – here.
