Dying Light 2 Stay Human – World Director Discusses Environmental Details, Factions, and More

Players will learn a lot about The City by observing billboards, eavesdropping on conversations, listening to tapes, and much more.

Techland has released a new episode of “Dying 2 Know” for Dying Light 2 Stay Human, discussing all the little details that players can observe in The City. We know about factions like the Peacekeepers and Renegades but world director Thomas Gerbaud talks about how they influence their environments. Check it out below.

For example, the Peacekeepers have turned an abandoned ship into their base so while it may look militaristic on the outside, it has a lot going on within. As such, there will be a lot of security and you may even encounter prisoners whose stories are told entirely through visuals. Though the Peacekeepers’ methods aren’t always the most agreeable, their presence can be felt through The City, manifesting in different kinds of propaganda.

There are other details to observe just by observing every day life, whether it’s in the graffiti, eavesdropping on conversations, collecting and listening to tapes, and so on. Gerbaud feels that all of this will add texture to the overall world and help players learn more about it.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is currently slated to release on February 4th 2022 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC with “zero” chance of being delayed again. Stay tuned for other details in the meantime.
